LeftSide Content Management System
LeftSide is our custom-built unique content management system that we created to meet the common needs of our
clients : to be able to update their website themselves, without having to wait or pay for a web designer. LeftSide
allows our clients to change their web content quickly and simply from any computer with internet access.
LeftSide is so user-friendly that an 11 year old (or a 61 year old) can add, edit, and remove items from their website
with a few simple clicks of the mouse. If you can use a keyboard and a mouse, you've got the tools needed to use
LeftSide.

LeftSide Modules
LeftSide is made up of several modules which help you to manage the content on your website.
Currently we offer the following modules :
Blurbs (manage the text on your site)
Events (manage items on a calendar)
Contacts (manage a contact database)
Email Blast (send mass emails)
Forms (manage documents)
Links (manage hyperlinks)
Photos (manage photo libraries)
Staff (manage how staff are displayed)
Projects (manage items with multiple pieces of information - e.g. real estate listings, artwork projects, etc.)

Simple and Intuitive
Each module works in a clean and intuitive manner... just click on the menu item and you're presented with a list of
current (existing) items and a button which allows you to add new content.
Within each screen you can also organize the 'order' which items are displayed on a page, as well as 'activate' or
'deactivate' an item. Inactive items remain in your system but are not displayed on your website. This gives you
complete control over what's displayed on your website - and gives you the flexibility to keep items in your system
that you might need again in the future.
Simple but Powerful
We've tried to make each module as full featured as possible while still keeping the structure as straightforward and
easy to understand as possible.

Some modules, the Contact Module for example, add some customized fields which allow users to experience the cost
savings of using LeftSide while still being able to tweak the offerings on their website to meet the specialized
needs of their particular category or client.
But wait... there's more!
We continue to develop LeftSide to enhance our content management modules, add features, rework code to improve
the way content is handled, and generally make it more powerful... all the while continuing to strive to keep the
modules easy to work with.
In general, these upgrades are free to our clients. Occasionally, use of new features require minimal rework of your
website to take advantage of these new and added features at a nominal cost (aprox. $20), but clients always have the
option of remaining on the current module system.
